Reporting to: Director of Training & Education
Overview
The Educator is a full-time position responsible for delivering comprehensive professional treatment education to licensed practitioners across multiple disciplines, including skincare, bodywork, and scalp and hair treatments. This role supports the Biologique Recherche brand and mission by ensuring the highest standards of service excellence, treatment execution, and brand representation across the U.S. client network and distribution/sales channels, including Ambassades and Department Stores.
Working closely with the Sales, Education, and Retail teams, the Educator plays a critical role in client support, practitioner certification, and driving treatment and retail performance through education. The role requires an active esthetics license in the educator’s state of residence and involves frequent domestic travel, with occasional international travel.
Responsibilities
Treatment and Training Standards
- Become a leading expert in Biologique Recherche’s products, treatments, protocols and selling techniques.
- Complete all required training courses and programs and remain current on all new product launches and protocols.
- Attend all required team meetings and training sessions.
- Conduct onsite and virtual training, onboarding, refresh training, new services, & boosters in all modalities across all channels (including wholesale business partners and Ambassades).
- Train practitioners and support staff on proper product usage, treatment execution, ingredient benefits, sales aids, and key selling points.
- Ensure consistent communication and adherence to brand standards across all training sessions.
- Certify all practitioners and support staff to ensure they have a thorough understanding of treatments and product knowledge.
- Conduct practitioner evaluations as part of onboarding, follow up, refresh, and new service training.
- Incorporate, utilize and integrate sales techniques, behaviors, best practices, and tools for all courses and products.
- Represent and uphold the brand standards - professionally, respectfully, and with integrity.
- Manage time successfully to optimize training and business needs – prioritizing punctuality and time spent onsite for the full duration of scheduled training or as business needs require.
Support of Sales and Retail Teams
- Conduct new hire onboarding and follow up training for all customer facing brand representatives and esthetician, including Ambassade and Department Store staff.
- Educate teams on skin analysis tools and methodologies, training practitioners, support staff, and counter staff to customize treatments and product recommendations based on client needs.
- Review and report on brand representation, retail displays/stock and backbar stock.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Education, and Retail teams to provide continuous feedback on account performance and client needs.
- Drive treatment and retail sales growth through product education, hands-on demonstrations, and effective sales communication.
- Conduct sales training in accordance with Global Standards using provided Global Education tools.
- Support KPI-driven growth through targeted retail and treatment-focused training initiatives.
- Conduct site visits and department training sessions as required.
- Complete and submit detailed training reports and evaluations following all sessions in a timely manner.
- Participate in and present at brand events, trade shows, seminars, and webinars as a brand representative.
Administrative Duties
- Complete all required training reports and evaluations within 72 hours of each training session.
- Book all travel and accommodations within the required booking window according to the travel and expense policy.
- Submit expense reports accurately and on time, including detailed notes, receipts, and proper categorization.
- Maintain and replenish vanity inventory in alignment with brand standards and within the allocated budget.
- Conduct quarterly vanity inventory and maintain a standard stock.
- Support the Education team with projects and the development of educational tools and resources.
- Assist with departmental administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an esthetician
- A minimum of 2 years of training experience
- A minimum of 1 year of retail experience, with sales training a plus
- Active esthetics license in the state of residence (required)
- Experience managing and developing team members to increase specialty & expertise
- Strong organizational, time management, and administrative skills with a strong attention to detail
- Adaptive, flexible and growth-minded, with a strong ability to handle multiple projects, priorities and timelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various operating systems and platforms/applications
- Proven track record of success in training and sales with the ability to identify and impact KPIs and analysis
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel extensively within the U.S. and internationally
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as business needs require
